Recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards in Vietnam: Procedures and practical issues
Foreign arbitral awards have recently been more widely recognized and enforced in Vietnam as the Civil Procedure Code has provided for a wider scope of legal relations involving foreign arbitral awards. But the fact remains that many of them have been rejected by Vietnamese courts, especially contract-related damage claims caused by non-performance of contracts by Vietnamese parties.
