Shortcomings of the regulations on foreign exchange control
As a general principle on the use of foreign currencies provided for under Vietnamese laws, any transactions, payments, listings and advertisements of residents and non-residents must not be effected on a foreign exchange within the territory of Vietnam, except for a number of statutorily permitted transactions.
