The National Assembly (NA) will consider the adoption of the draft revised laws on land and credit institutions at its 5th extraordinary session slated for next week.

The information was announced on January 8 by Bui Van Cuong, NA General Secretary and Chairman of the NA Office, at the NA Standing Committee’s ongoing 29th session.

Cuong said that at the 5th extraordinary session, the NA will also consider passing a draft resolution on a number of specific mechanisms and policies to remove difficulties and obstacles in, and step up the implementation of the national target programs, and discuss and decide on several urgent financial and state budget issues.

The session is scheduled to open on January 15 and wrap up on January 18. NA deputies will have a day off on January 17, so agencies can acquire ideas contributed by legislators to perfect the draft laws and resolution to submit to the NA for approval at the closing session, according to the NA official.

The outcomes of the extraordinary session will be publicized, he added.-(VLLF)
