The Advisory Council for Administrative Reform under the Government Office has proposed the establishment of an independent administrative procedures control body, Minister-Director of the Government Office Nguyen Xuan Phuc said at a press conference on July 6 in Hanoi to assess the Government’s Administrative Reform Project (Project 30).
This body would supervise, examine and detect administrative procedures without being dependent on other departments or bureaus within a ministry, he said.
Public, transparent and simple administrative procedures would directly contribute to the fight against corruption in Vietnam, Phuc said.-
