New law governs overseas diplomatic missions and consulates
From September 2, 2009, the Law on Overseas-based Representative Missions of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (the Law) will replace the 1990 Ordinance on Consulates and the 1993 Ordinance on Overseas-based Representative Missions.
